·         Designed Reinforced Plastic Composite Void Content Experiment specifically for glass reinforced polypropylene – Now Internal Standard for Company.

 

  • Developed glass reinforced thermoplastic consolidation parameters for a double-belt consolidator. 

 

·         Investigated the effect of cooling pressure on reinforced polypropylene to reduce void content.

·         Studied the effect of void content on flexural and tensile modulus of reinforced composites.

·         Tested reinforced plastics / thermosets / other materials in different modes according to ASTM standards.

·         Produced reinforced thermoplastics and thermosets for research and development.

·         Worked with a chemical team to study the compatibility of fibreglass sizings with various coatings / polymers.

·         Investigated the Shear failure / Increase in Shear Strength for fasteners in a reinforced Polypropylene laminate.
